CONTEST WINNER SEPTEMBER 2019

The Eratosthenes Experiment September 2019, organized on the 23rd  of  September by Ellinogermaniki Agogi’s (EA) Research and Development Department in collaboration with Hellenic Mathematical Society, under the support of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) as well, in the framework of the celebrations for the IAU 100th anniversaryand the astronomical breakthroughs that have shaped science, technology and culture throughout the last century, received another great response, as 219 schools from 36 countries all over the world participated in this celebration of science and education, calculating the circumference of the Earth by using eLearning educational tools and simple instruments.

About 20 schools and institutions joined the group of the Photo Contest September 2019 in ODS Eratosthenes Experiment community, submitting pictures capturing the schools’ involvement in the experiment.
