CONTEST WINNER MARCH 2026

The Eratosthenes Experiment, organized on the 20^th of March 2026 by Ellinogermaniki Agogi’s (EA) Research and Development Department in collaboration with the Hellenic Mathematical Society, received a great response, as 132 schools from 31 countries all over the world participated in this celebration of science and education, calculating the circumference of the Earth by using eLearning educational tools and simple instruments.
Teachers from the above-participating schools and institutions joined the Eratosthenes Group  in the GEO Academy Portal community, submitting pictures capturing the schools’ involvement in the experiment.
